In my youth I dreamed of

fascinating worlds of nature and technology.

My professional career beyond medicine

performances as a cellist in a string quartet and symphony orchestra, and as a keyboardist in a band.

My love for medicine

developed from my enthusiasm for human anatomy and my fascination with making the invisible visible.

My weekends I spend with

my family, preferably at the lakes in the Salzkammergut region.
